Robin transferred to KenCCID in 1999. Maintaining employment is one of her favorite accomplishments.
Robin attended the School for the Council of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. It was always stated that she is helpful, puts forth her best effort and works extremely hard at all duties given.
Shopping for jewelry, purses and clothes were her favorite outings. She accumulated so much jewelry over years of shopping.
Robin gained employment with Red Lobster in 2005, working 5 days a week as a Silverware Roller. The craft stores is where she frequented when she received her paycheck. We encouraged her to buy wire, beads and yarn, so that she could make her own jewelry. It became very therapeutic for her.
While participating in the art program at the Magic Gardens, a bystander asked for Robin to create 100 duplicates of a piece she created on their display.
We see a smile on her face every day.
