Whenever you hear the word disability, what first comes to mind?

Wheelchairs?

Accessible parking?

Walkers?

Glasses?

While it’s true that some disabilities are very visible, many types of disabilities are “invisible”.

Persons with “invisible disabilities” may feel more pressure to conform to society’s standards of what “normal” is.

This month we’re going to take a deeper look into various types of “invisible disabilities”.

The individuals with these disabilities are not invisible, however.

Their struggles are very real.

Their triumphs are very real.
