How Do We Store and Protect the Information We Collect?

Deleting Stored Information

 

32) You may request the erasure of your personal information at any time by emailing us atKenccidFamily@kenccid.org. We will respond within 72 hours to confirm receipt of your request. 

 

33) When contacting us to request deletion of your personal information, please provide:

 

            a) your name;

            b) your contact information; and

c) a description of the information that you have shared and that you would like to have deleted. 

 

34) Upon confirming your written request, we will delete your personal information stored in databases that we have access to and send requests to third-parties with whom we have shared such information to delete it. Please allow up to 90 days for us to complete this process.

 

35) Except where compliance is required by law, we reserve the right to reject any deletion request in our sole discretion.

 

 

Donations and Payment Information

 

36) We offer visitors the option to donate to us through the Site. Donations made through the Site are facilitated by Givebutter, Inc. – a fundraising, marketing, and donor management platform. 

 

37) The payment and personal information that you share when donating through the Site is collected by Givebutter, Inc., and subject to their privacy policies and practices. Givebutter, Inc. shares the following information with us:

 

            a) donor’s first and last name

b) donor notes/comments, including whether the donation is given in memory/honor of a particular individual

            c) donor email address

            d) donor mailing address

 

38) We may use such information to communicate with you (e.g., to thank you for your donation) and to send you promotional and educational materials about the Organization. We may also share your name and the amount of your donation on our social media pages, and in our newsletters, thank you emails, brochures and other educational and promotional materials.

 

39) Givebutter, Inc. does not share donor payment information, such as credit or debit card information and bank account information, with us. We do not collect or store this information. Please refer to Givebutter, Inc.’s privacy policies and practices for details about the storage of such information. 

 

 

Additional Information

 

40) Under the GDPR, individuals located in the European Union have certain rights relating to the processing of their personal data. Similar rights are granted to citizens of the UK under the Data Protection Act. This section is intended to address such rights.

The legitimate interest providing the basis for such data processing is to provide access to the Site, and to enable reasonable steps to ensure Site security and functionality.

Any disputes or legal actions arising from or relating to this policy shall be resolved a state or Federal court located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
