Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner.

She has been awarded the most patents of any Black woman in the US.

Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner invented many devices that helped to make the lives of individuals with disabilities easier. She is most famous for inventing a walker with an attachable tray that allows individuals to carry items.

Here at KenCCID, we honor and acknowledge the work that Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner has done not only for our community of individuals with disabilities, but for other communities as well.
