The rights of persons with disabilities is a core focus area of the United Nations.

The advent and explosion in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools has been described as the “humanity’s greatest challenge”. 

When it comes to persons with disabilities, AI has the potential to vastly improve their quality of life. 

AI also has the potential to make things worse for persons with disabilities if the technology is not used responsibly.
