Lisa A. Hanssen. Esq. joined the KenCCID Board in May 2013 and has served as Chairman of the Board since January 2015. The KenCCID Board members are a wonderful group of talented and committed volunteers.
KenCCID’s Board members actively partner with KenCCID’s accomplished, dedicated and bright CEO Maku Warrakah-Ali, and her amazing leadership team to strategize and drive KenCCID’s mission forward. The Board’s focus is always on individuals with disabilities as we work together to overcome the routine and unexpected challenges that non-profit corporations face today. These challenges range from budget cuts and limited resources to political instability.
We focus on promoting the independence of individuals with disabilities, enriching their day-to-day lives and empowering them to reach their full potential. We also strive to hear, respect, and support KenCCID employees. We work to attract and engage volunteers and donors to help us sustain and grow KenCCID. In this way, KenCCID can continue to make a difference for individuals with disabilities, their families, and our communities.”
